5. Cookies on this website

5.1 Technical or functional storage

We remember your advertising measurement choice in local storage under smile-ad-measurement-consent-v1 so we can respect it on later visits. This preference storage does not record your enquiries or clinical details. It remains until you clear it or change your choice. If you accept measurement, session storage under smile-ad-source remembers the advert source and campaign reference for up to 30 minutes so enquiries remain attributed as you move between pages, and local storage under smile-ad-click keeps the Google advert click reference for up to 30 days so an enquiry you make later is still linked to the advert; withdrawing removes both.

5.2 Statistics, advertising and marketing/tracking cookies

If you accept advertising measurement, Google Ads may use cookies such as _gcl_aw (normally up to 90 days) to attribute enquiries and calls to adverts. Website call measurement may replace our displayed number with a Google forwarding number. Google receives technical and advertising attribution information; we do not send the contents of enquiry forms, names, contact details or treatment selections as conversion-event parameters. If you make an enquiry and later have treatment, we may report the treatment's monetary value to Google Ads against the advert click reference only (see our privacy policy). 5.3 Links to other websites and services

Our website links to services run by other organisations, including our online booking portal, WhatsApp, Google Maps and our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube). These are not embedded in our pages; if you follow a link, that service may place its own cookies under its own cookie policy.

6. Consent

Optional Google tags are not loaded until you select Accept measurement. Reject optional tracking keeps them blocked. Use Cookie preferences to change your choice at any time. Withdrawing reloads the page to stop the loaded tag; you can also clear existing cookies in your browser. Declining has no effect on booking, phone calls or enquiry forms.

You can use your internet browser to automatically or manually delete cookies. You can also specify that certain cookies may not be placed.
