Caring for your dentures
- Rinse your dentures after eating and clean them daily with a soft brush and non-abrasive denture cleaner (not regular toothpaste)
- Keep them in water or soaking solution overnight so they don't dry out and warp
- Clean your gums, tongue and any remaining teeth morning and night
- Don't use bleach or vinegar on your dentures, and don't sleep in them unless your dentist advises it
- Have regular check-ups so we can check the fit; poorly fitting dentures can cause sores
