Composite veneers
Composite veneers use tooth-coloured resin across the visible surface of a tooth to change how it looks. They may be considered for concerns about tooth shape, proportions or surface appearance.
Start with a consultation at our clinic in Hopton. We welcome patients from Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Bradwell and Belton and help you compare the options for your smile.

Could composite veneers suit you?
- Tooth shape: changes to the visible proportions of selected teeth
- Uneven appearance: compare veneers with more limited bonding
- Small spaces: compare cosmetic options with orthodontics
- Surface appearance: discuss shade and finish, and whether whitening is appropriate first
What are composite veneers?
A composite veneer is a layer of tooth-coloured resin shaped onto the front of a tooth, then hardened and polished. It usually involves more composite than a small bonding repair.
Porcelain veneers use a different material and process. The options differ in preparation, durability, repair and cost, and neither is right for everyone. Your dentist will explain which approach, if any, suits your teeth.

Common questions
How much do composite veneers cost?
Composite veneers start from £250 per tooth. Your total depends on the number of teeth, the extent of treatment and any dental work needed first, so after a consultation we give you a personal treatment plan and quote.
Are payment options available?
Ask our team about the payment options currently available, including interest-free finance for treatment plans (subject to approval). We'll explain the fees before you decide.
Is tooth preparation needed?
It depends on the condition and position of your teeth and the result planned. Your dentist will explain whether any enamel needs to be altered before treatment.
How long do composite veneers last?
Their lifespan varies with your bite, habits and oral hygiene. They can stain, chip or wear, and may need polishing, repair or replacement over time.
Aftercare and prevention
- Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and clean between your teeth
- Avoid biting nails, pens or hard objects with bonded teeth
- Talk to your dentist about any grinding or clenching
- Attend regular reviews and let us know if the composite chips, feels rough or affects your bite
